A two-day workshop series for district coordinators of the Right to Life Human Rights Center was held on September 29-30, 2024 in Negombo.
Attorney Danushka Silva, Attorney Dulan Dasanayake participated as resource persons for the workshop.
The first day of this workshop was dedicated to raising awareness about the Prevention of Terrorism Act.
Accordingly, a study report on the Prevention of Terrorism Act was presented, and the coordinators were informed about countering terrorism through human rights protection, international approaches, and future perspectives.
The second day of the workshop mainly focused on informing the coordinators about the follow-up of our Human Rights First Aid Centers’ activities over the past year.
Furthermore, the activities of each center were ranked, and centers performing at an excellent level were recognized and appreciated.
