Venerable Urulewatte Dhammarakkhita Thero, a Senior Executive Sangha Member of the Asgiriya Chapter, has called upon the public to display Buddhist flags on their homes and vehicles across the country during the exhibition period.

He emphasized the importance of decorum among devotees attending the exhibition.

“The entire city of Kandy will be illuminated with lights at night and adorned with flags. We encourage the public to display Buddhist flags or specially designed flags related to the Dalada Exhibition on their vehicles. This initiative aims to convey a message to society over the next 10 to 12 days. We invite everyone to participate in this activity and to conduct themselves with restraint,” said the Venerable Thero.

The special Sri Dalada Exhibition is set to commence on April 18th and will be held for 10 days.
