The “Is There an Alternative?” interactive seminar, organized as an inquiry into the economic crisis and potential solutions, will be held on May 29, 2024, at 3:00 PM at the Lakshman Kadirgamar Centre, Colombo 07.

During the event, the book titled “No Alternative – An Inquiry into the Economic Crisis and Solutions (Sinhala and Tamil only),” authored by senior journalist C.J. Amarathunga, will be launched. This publication is based on various discussions, dialogues, and conferences organized by the civil society network “We Have a Dream,” which advocates for political and economic reforms in the country.
The conference is organized by “We Have a Dream,” a collective comprising civil organizations and individuals, including “Aluth Kathabaha,” “National Movement for a Just Society,” and “Platform for Freedom.”
